Wow ! Thank you for sharing Windy, that's an amazing story :) PEACE
Windy Mountain
A beautiful piece Susan. I met him twice. Once on New Years Eve going into 1967 on the stage before the show at Fillmore West - My date went to high school with Pigpen so we were invited. Then again the November before he died I sat across a picnic table from him at a party in California. I had no idea it was him. He shook my hand, smile, and said, "Oh, so you're Windy Mountain. I've heard of you. My name is Jerry." On the way home my date told me I had been talking to Jerry Garcia. Had not seen a picture of him in many years. Kind of a cool memory. I love you work. Thanks for honoring him with this. He was a nice guy. Love and Peace, Windy Mountain
